Lisa Kogawa

Lisa was born in Japan, raised in California and currently is a freelance illustrator, translator and culture consultant based in Los Angeles. Graduated from Orange County Schools of the Arts, Shonan Art Academy, and with BFA from ArtCenter College of Design. She has received awards such as Society of Illustrators, American Illustration, and Creative Quarterly. Her life circles around her 4,000 books, 100 animes yearly, rabbits motifs, sushi, sweet potatoes, pink risographs and white wine.

Clients include : FX, Disney APAC, BUCK, Netflix, Los Angeles Times, Sony Entertainment, Sony Music, IWGroup, Eater, Coca Cola, Virgin Orbit, Los Angeles Magazine, SpiralCute, Japan Tabacco International, The Ringer, Mothership, Pop-Up Magazine etc

現在ロサンゼルスを拠点にイラスト・デザイン、主にエンタメ業界の通訳・翻訳、日米文化コンサル等など幅広く活動中。三重県生まれ、カルフォルニア西海岸・小田急線育ち。アートセンターカレッジオブデザイン、イラストレーション科卒業。イラストレーションでは過去にSociety of Illustrator, American Illustration, Creative Quarterlyを受賞。『SHOGUN 将軍』( ディズニープラス)などの映像作品では日米文化コンサルタント、他にもさまざまなアニメやドラマの動画配信サイトでの翻訳やイベント・アテンド業務に携わっております。好きなものは漫画＆アニメ、うさぎ、お寿司、さつまいも、蛍光ピンクのリソグラフと白ワイン。不定期でnoteも書いてます。
